The Hilton High School strives to ensure a high quality instructional program that meets the needs of our students. Hilton High School’s commencement standards articulate outcomes that are consistent with the International Baccalaureate Program.

We are excited about the opportunities an IB diploma offers our students beyond the traditional Regents diploma offered by New York State. We recognize that it is our responsibility to prepare our students for the 21st century. IB’s integrated curriculum, with its unique requirements, maximizes the talent of the individual student.

The international component of the IB program is an essential element in preparing our students for success beyond high school. The IB diploma exemplifies a balanced, rigorous course of study beyond what we traditionally offer at Hilton High School.

IB Mission Statement

Through comprehensive and balanced curricula coupled with challenging assessments, the International Baccalaureate Organization aims to assist schools in their endeavors to develop the individual talents of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside.

Beyond intellectual rigor and high academic standards, strong emphasis is placed on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship, to the end that IB students may become critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants in local and world affairs, conscious of the shared humanity that binds all people together while respecting the variety of cultures and attitudes that makes for the richness of life.
