Welcome to our website and the fall 2012 school year!!!  You've found our home page, which is part of the Hilton Central School District.  My name is Patrick Kruchten, and this fall will be my 27th year as a teacher.  

I put this website together with the help of my students to improve communication between school and home, and to help share more of the work that we do each and every day.  Feel free to click on the links to your left to learn about us and our school.

Our school, QUEST Elementary School, is a public school of choice that began in 1994.  QUEST was created by six teachers, many dedicated parents and students, and a supportive administration and Board of Education.

We are a MULTIAGE, inclusive elementary school of choice, and we work with students from 5-12 years old.  Our structure is somewhat unique.  We work within an inquiry model based upon the IBO, International Baccalaureate Organization.  Students spend their first year with us in one of three kindergarten rooms. After that initial year students spend two years at each of our three other levels, primary, elementary, and intermediate, before graduating. 

QUEST is located at 225 West Avenue, 14468, in the center of Hilton, approximately 25 minutes from downtown Rochester and about 10 minutes south of Lake Ontario.
